New CANIDAE Life Stages Cat Food is the Cat’s Meow!

Linda cats for review 2By Jabbers Cole, Feline Guest Blogger

Mew – Mew, Maauul, Meow. Pardon me, I had to get my voice warmed up so I can share my purrfectly good news with all my kitty friends. CANIDAE has some tasty new recipes in their Life Stages line of food for cats!  The Boss (aka my human) says I’m the one that loves to jabber all the time, so I could tell everyone about this meowvalous food.

My culinary adventure started awhile back when I was checking out what the neighbor dogs were yapping about. All of a sudden, this scary looking guy walked right by my window! He tossed something down and ran away. The Boss went to see what he left. She came back with a box and set it down in front of me. “Look what came for you, Jabbers.”

My first thought was “Nice box!” But it didn’t look at all big enough for me to fit inside. There were lots of small cans of cat food in the box. Now that got my attention, and I decided there was plenty of time to figure out how I was going to fit inside that tiny box.

I have multiple kitty siblings, but the Boss picked me and my buddy Mozart to taste test this new food because we are her favorites. What do you mean I can’t say that? Hey, who’s Linda cats for review 4writing this, me or you? Like I said, we’re her favorites. It took hours before she finally dished up a plate for us, though. If I’d known something so delicious was being served for supper, I would’ve cut back on my usual portion at breakfast. Wait, what am I saying? I’d never do that.

Anyhoo, I couldn’t believe my nose when she finally got around to fixing my supper. I woke up from my catnap to the enticing smell of salmon. I thought I was dreaming at first, but my kitty nose never lies. I beat Mozart to the plate by the tip of my claw and wanted to eat the whole thing, but the Boss said I had to share. Let me tell you, my feline friends, that salmon was so good we just about licked the pattern off that plate! It took me twenty minutes to get my whiskers cleaned up.

CANIDAE added six new entrées to their Life Stages cat food lineup. There’s Chicken, Lamb, Oceanfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Salmon and Turkey. The Chicken is a smooth paté with herbs. The Lamb, Oceanfish, Yellowfin Tuna and Salmon are sliced and simmered in broth, and the Turkey is sliced and simmered in gravy. Yummy on all six flavors. The Boss asked which one I liked the best, but I simply could not choose a favorite.

Life Stages Cat-Can-3oz-TurkeySo here’s the skinny on these new flavors. They are made right here in the U.S.A. like all the other premium quality pet food CANIDAE makes. You won’t find any fillers, hormones, antibiotics, wheat, corn, soy or artificial flavors in them either. Of course, I have no idea what all of that means, but the Boss said I should tell you that because it’s a good thing to know. All I know is that my nose told my stomach something amazing was heading its way. And my nose never lies. With these six new Life Stages flavors, humans who want to give their cat a healthy food now have a lot more choices.

For my feline bros who have to share space with a dog…better watch your back. Those sneaky canines might try to swipe some of your new CANIDAE Life Stages cat food if you don’t keep them at paws length. I almost had to rumble with one of mine. For hissing out loud, it says cat food on the can – not dog food. What nerve, trying to sneak up behind me to steal my food. I have to watch them constantly. The next thing you know, one of the dogs will be trying to sleep in MY bed, too!
