New CANIDAE Life Stages Cat Food is the Cat’s Meow!

Linda cats for review 2By Jabbers Cole, Feline Guest Blogger

Mew – Mew, Maauul, Meow. Pardon me, I had to get my voice warmed up so I can share my purrfectly good news with all my kitty friends. CANIDAE has some tasty new recipes in their Life Stages line of food for cats!  The Boss (aka my human) says I’m the one that loves to jabber all the time, so I could tell everyone about this meowvalous food.

My culinary adventure started awhile back when I was checking out what the neighbor dogs were yapping about. All of a sudden, this scary looking guy walked right by my window! He tossed something down and ran away. The Boss went to see what he left. She came back with a box and set it down in front of me. “Look what came for you, Jabbers.”

My first thought was “Nice box!” But it didn’t look at all big enough for me to fit inside. There were lots of small cans of cat food in the box. Now that got my attention, and I decided there was plenty of time to figure out how I was going to fit inside that tiny box.

New CANIDAE Grain Free Puppy Food Passes Taste Test!

by Marcus Price, Canine Guest Blogger

I had never had a package delivered just for me, but suddenly there were two with my name on them! I did a few leaps of joy and a zoomie or two. I couldn’t wait to try out the new puppy food that I wouldn’t have to share.

The next morning I was fed outside so the adult dogs wouldn’t drool into my breakfast while my human, Jan, took pictures. But it took her so long to open the bag! She couldn’t pull the top apart and had to hunt for scissors. Then she droned on and on about the merits of the food I was about to eat and I ended up drooling into my own breakfast.

The kibble in my bowl was the new CANIDAE Grain Free Pure Foundations for Puppies formula, made with only 9 key ingredients and none of the stuff growing pups DON’T need, like fillers and artificial flavors. The food has fresh chicken, menhaden fish meal, lentils, peas, potatoes, dried whole egg, chicken fat, suncured alfalfa and flaxseed, plus natural flavor, vitamins, minerals and fermented probiotic mix, which is good for the gut. I have no idea why Jan smiles when she stresses the word “fermented,” but that’s evidently a very good thing.

New CANIDAE Grain Free Cat Food Gets Two Paws Up!

Pure chicken canBy Rocky Williams, Feline Guest Blogger

We interrupt our regularly scheduled catnap to bring you this impawtent bulletin:  new CANIDAE foodables have arrived!

It was an exciting day here when the man in the blue shorts delivered that big package, which the Warden said was all for me. Well, technically she said I had to share the noms with the other two furry inmates, but I was busy salivating so I wasn’t really paying any attention to that part. All I heard was that I would get to be a guinea pig and taste test some new grain free Pure formulas to give you my honest opinion of them. Catzowey! Life is good.

Now, being the foodie that I am, I may not be the best feline for the job of Cat Food Taste Tester but hey… you’ll never find anyone who throws themselves into their “work” with more enthusiasm than I do. Yep. Uh huh. I do love my noms. But even foodie cats like a little variety once in awhile, and since we only eat premium quality food at this five-star establishment, we ate the same two CANIDAE formulas all the time. Not any more!

With six new grain free flavors added to the CANIDAE line-up, mealtime just became the highlight of my day. Oh wait…it already was. The point is, now my furry inmates and I will get to mix it up a little. Even better, there are some interesting meats in these new foodables that we haven’t tried before – like duck, herring, rabbit, trout and lobster.

Rescue Kitty in Kuwait Thrives on CANIDAE

By Julia Williams

Nowadays, online shopping has made it possible for people in nearly any country to feed their pets premium quality food like CANIDAE. We recently received a delightful story from Walter, an American who is currently living in Kuwait.

Walter has a pretty kitty named Pilly, who was just an itty bitty stray when she was rescued from the streets of Kuwait. Now she lives a great life, eating nutritious food and being spoiled by a man who clearly adores her. Wouldn’t it be great if every kitty in every city worldwide had such a wonderful life?

We loved Walter’s story about Pilly, and thought you might enjoy it also.

From Walter: “I have been living and working in Kuwait at an American military base since August of 2005. I got the cat when my coworker had to leave Kuwait. He found her when she was 2 weeks old and crossing a busy street by herself, and it was 110 degrees. She is about 2 1/2 yrs old now, and she is my boss. I am the pet in this household!

My cat’s name is Pilly. Let me explain. I have maids from India; the company pays for them, so I say OK. Anyway, I showed the maids a tiger on the TV when I was watching NatGeo. I told them that in English, it’s called a tiger. They told me that in their language, Telegu, it’s poolly.
??????????
Months later, I had the cat given to me and when the maids came into my place in the morning, I said ‘Look, a poolly!’ My cat was about 6 weeks old at the time. She was still very tiny, and I fed her with a baby bottle. The maids laughed and said ‘No, poolly means big cat and pilly means small cat.’ So I decided to call my cat Pilly, and my maids do, too.

I was feeding her another brand, but she got fat and wasn’t very healthy. I bought a bag of the CANIDAE Grain Free PURE Sea with Fresh Salmon food for Pilly. She loves it! Plus, she has lost some weight and she acts differently – she acts HEALTHY! She also looks very healthy! Now she is beautiful. Thank you, and my cat thanks you.

Pilly loves to sit and watch the happenings down below from the balcony, where she has a prime viewing spot next to her feeder filled with CANIDAE.”

Thank you, Walter, for sending us such a cute story about your beloved cat. Pilly is adorable, and we’re so glad you rescued her — and that she rescued you right back!
