CANIDAE Sponsors 2009 Bark in the Park in San Jose

CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods is set to sponsor the 2009 Bark in the Park event this September in San Jose, California. Bark in the Park, Santa Clara Valley's premier event for dogs and their best friends, has grown to be the largest dog festival in the US. Over 10,000 people and 3,000 dogs will enjoy this family oriented, all-day event to be held September 19 at Naglee Park in San Jose. Throughout the day there will be contests, music, celebrities, demonstrations, dog-related vendors and services, and activities for the kids.

Hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood's Campus Community Association, this event is a fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the Humane Society Silicon Valley and San Jose Animal Care Center. Over the 11 years of Bark in the Park over $14,000 has been given to animal oriented charities. Bark in the Park has also invested over $20,000 to education enrichment in Downtown San Jose Schools.
