International Demand for All Natural CANIDAE Pet Food Grows as CANIDAE Attends CIPS09 in Guangzhou, China

The China International Pet Show (CIPS), the largest and most influential international pet products trade show in Asia, held its 13th annual event this November 16-19, 2009 at the Chinese Export Commodities Fair in Guangzhou, China.

Held in Southern China not far from Hong Kong, this renowned pet industry show is an opportunity for international pet companies to develop their Asian markets.

Our own Manny Rosillo, International Sales Manager, was in attendance together with Rog Trading, the CANIDAE Distributor for China and Hong Kong. With almost half a million square feet of exhibit space, Rosillo and Rog Trading staff were busy each of the show's four days fielding questions about CANIDAE dog food and FELIDAE cat food, and taking orders from enthusiastic buyers, many of whom are just beginning to develop their natural pet food business in Asia.

"We conducted a lot of new business at the show and were contacted by several prospective distributors interested in helping us meet the growing demand for our products in other parts of Asia and beyond," said Rosillo.

With the rapid development of the Asian economy, China and its neighbors have emerged as an important consumer market for pet products. While the demand for high quality, premium pet food has grown in North America and Europe over the past 15 or more years, many Asian consumers are just beginning to discover for themselves and their pets the benefits of feeding a high quality pet diet free from corn, wheat, soy, grain fractions or fillers.
