Record Visitors Attend Interzoo 2010 in Nürnberg, Germany - A Successful Show for CANIDAE

As an exhibitor at its fourth consecutive Interzoo show, CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods was a presence at Interzoo 2010, held in Nürnberg, Germany, from May 13th to 16th. Interzoo, the biennial International Trade Fair for Pet Supplies, is the top event worldwide for the industry. From the Interzoo website, figures indicate that 2010 was a record year, with 1,502 exhibitors (4 per cent more than in 2008) and more than 38,000 trade visitors from 117 countries (3 per cent more than in 2008). The 10 halls of display area with a total of some 970,000 square feet was also a record. Exhibitors displayed pet food, grooming aids, accessories and services for four-legged pets, birds, fish and reptiles.

CANIDAE’s all natural super premium formulas with no corn, wheat, soy, grain fractions or fillers were a big draw for show attendees. CANIDAE grain free formulas were on display as new products since the last Interzoo in 2008. Interest in all natural and holistic products for pets reflects a trend noted at the show of more supplement products, herbal and hypoallergenic products, and specialty food for the needs of pets’ life stages and those with certain sensibilities.

At Interzoo, Manny Rosillo, International Sales Manager for CANIDAE, brought on board four new distributors, who are located in Asia and Eastern Europe. Manny also was able to meet face-to-face in one venue with the CANIDAE distributors from several countries. Manny was pleased that almost every visitor to our stand was already familiar with the CANIDAE brand name and its reputation for superior quality products.
