CANIDAE will be the title sponsor of the August 25, 2010 “Bark in the Park” Colorado Springs Sky Sox ball game against the Salt Lake Bees! Sports fans who purchase tickets to the game at Security Service Field may bring their four-legged friends along to enjoy the game with them as a family. Tickets are only $5.
The stadium’s left field grass berm will be open to all fans who bring their dogs, providing ample seating and fresh water for their pets. Leashes and good canine manners are required for entry. The CANIDAE sponsored event is held in conjunction with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. “The Human Society loves to participate in the Sky Sox ‘Bark in the Park’ because the fans prove time and time again what dog lovers we are here in the Pikes Peak Region. Studies have shown that companion animals are considered family members, and these evenings celebrate the human/animal bond by giving pets and families social time together,” said the Humane Society President & CEO, Jan McHugh-Smith.
CANIDAE Sales Manager, Chris Milliken and his staff of dedicated pet lovers will be on hand to offer fans free samples and coupons for the CANIDAE line of healthy meat-based, holistic, natural dog food, cat food, and gourmet pet treats. CANIDAE will also offer helpful information on Responsible Pet Ownership to dog and cat owners.
“Promoting Responsible Pet Ownership is a fundamental part of what we do here at CANIDAE. We’re grateful for the chance to sponsor an event that encourages dog owners to bring their companions along for a day of fun outside on the grass. ‘RPO’ doesn’t just include good nutrition, but all the things that make for happy, healthy pets like training and exercise, proper veterinarian care, spaying and neutering, and supporting reputable rescue groups like the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region,” said Milliken.
