Meet the BreedsCANIDAE will attend the 2010 Meet the Breeds event this October 16 and 17 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Sponsored by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA), Meet the Breeds is a fun, family oriented event designed to showcase over 200 distinct breeds of dog and cats, allowing attendees to literally "Meet the Breeds" by petting the dogs, cats, puppies and kittens and learning about them directly from the experts.

We will be at booth 2321 for the event which is expected to draw a crowd of over 40,000 dog and cat lovers from across North America. In addition to offering free samples of natural and holistic CANIDAE dog food, Felidae cat food, and Snap-Biscuit and Snap-Bits healthy gourmet dog treats, CANIDAE sales managers Dennis VanEtten and John Grosse will be on hand to discuss canine and feline nutrition, and offer helpful tips and advice on Responsible Pet Ownership.

This year's Meet the Breeds show will feature over 200 individually decorated official breed booths allowing dog and cat lovers to interact with dogs, cats, puppies and kittens and learn about their history and unique attributes directly from the experts. Over 100 vendor booths will offer every imaginable product for pets and their owners. Five ongoing demonstration rings will feature law enforcement K9s, grooming, agility, obedience and more.

Advance ticket are $12 for adults and $8 for children under 13. Visit www.meetthebreeds.com for additional details or to purchase tickets.
