Join CANIDAE at “Bark in the Park 2011” in San Jose, California

CANIDAE will be at the “Bark in the Park” dog festival again this year, which takes places on Saturday, September 17 in San Jose, California. This family-oriented event is the largest dog festival in the U.S., attracting more than 3,500 dogs and 15,000 people each year.

Bark in the Park is a fund raising event hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood’s Campus Community Association (CCA), with all proceeds benefiting the CCA, Humane Society Silicon Valley and the San Jose Animal Care Center. Highlights of the all-day event in William Street Park include contests, performing dogs, demonstrations, a dog agility course, live music, food and beverages, dog-related vendors and services, and fun activities for children. Admission is free, with a $5 donation per dog encouraged.

CANIDAE representatives will be on hand to offer free samples and coupons for their line of healthy meat-based, holistic, natural dog food, cat food and gourmet pet treats. CANIDAE will also offer helpful tips and advice on Responsible Pet Ownership to dog and cat owners.
