    Canidae Pet Foods has an excellent opportunity for a highly energetic Marketing Professional to join our Team as a Product Manager. The successful candidate will have responsibility for creating and implementing marketing initiatives for the wide range of consumer packaged goods we produce, in innovative ways. (S)he will be accountable for creation to shelf initiatives on both new products and existing ones which require updating. The position also requires that this person be somewhat of a “Road Warrior”.   • 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service environment.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and written/oral communication to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple customers and priorities.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
  • Ability to embrace team concepts and participate in the department growth and development.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle complex situations.
  • Ability to type 45wpm.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand, bend and walk the course of normal duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
    • Must have hand and wrist coordination for data entry input
    • Must have good vision for close-up computer work (with or without the aid of eye glass or contact lenses)
    • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.


    Working conditions:
    • Must be available for shift rotations including Saturdays between potential hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm


    Travel:
    • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
