That is very little, too. So I am a firm believer in your CANIDAE dog food, and I have recommended it to many other friends. Sandi B. Stevens Point, WI His coat looks amazing!  1/19/12 - I got my pup at 8 weeks and from the beginning the vet had me put him on adult dog food so he wouldn’t grow too fast. I chose CANIDAE All Life Stages. He has done amazingly well and is now just a little over 90 lbs. Everyone comments on how good he looks and what an amazing coat he has. I notice that he doesn’t hardly shed, he is soft & shiny, has almost no odor, his breath is not stinky, and his eyes are clear. I credit the CANIDAE ALS for his great health and lack of “doggy” smell. He absolutely loves the food and licks his bowl clean. Red Dobermans are notorious for having skin and coat problems and I’m so thankful to have a happy healthy two year old doberman with such a beautiful coat and no skin problems. Great product!  12/19/11 - I have to tell you that I use your food for three dogs, Ashby (little terrier type), Waffles (pit and golden lab mix) and Kubana (chocolate lab mix). Now three of my friends also use it and they all thank me a lot. Kubana is a good eater, but the other two were a problem. When we discovered CANIDAE, they ALL became good eaters. We all use the All Life Stages formula and are very happy. My dogs all eat it, easily with no additives or anything. Great product! Thank you so much!
Alan M. They would do anything for these treats!  12/16/11 - Hi. My dogs tried the TidNips treats today and they LOVE them!! One of them even spun around in circles and they would do anything for these treats. They are very soft and just wonderful for one of my senior dogs. Eeyore is the Yorkshire Terrier and Roxy is the one holding the treats. These are their new favorite treats.Tiffany T. San Jose, CA His feet started to heal and he is just fine now!  12/15/11 - I am an employee at the Belle Plaine Country store in Belle Plaine, MN. One of our customers had a dog that was chewing his feet so bad they were bleeding. It wasn't only his paws; he also lost hair all over his body. She spent a lot of money on dog food to no avail. The vet couldn't even figure it out. Then she came to our store. We carry three varieties of CANIDAE and I suggested she try CANIDAE grain-free. She said if it didn't work, they were going to have their Lab put down. It worked!  His feet started to heal and he is just fine now. They are enjoying their dog and the dog is enjoying life without chewed bloody paws. She said it was a blessing. Her dog will be on CANIDAE for the rest of his life. All of my dogs are on CANIDAE, too. I have three small house dogs and a farm dog that is Golden and Newfie mix. They all eat the same food, CANIDAE! My Newfie puppy is 10 months old now and her coat is beautiful, soft and shiny. We sell a lot of different dog foods at the store, but my personal favorite is CANIDAE PAWS. Thanks for a great dog food. Bobbi K. CANIDAE has made a difference in their health  12/14/11 - I have a 1 1/2 year old male golden retriever that we got at 8 weeks old. He was being fed CANIDAE originally from the breeder and I changed it when I brought him home to another brand, a large breed puppy formula. He was such a beautiful healthy dog and I wanted to give him the best food, so I switched him back to CANIDAE. He seems to really love it. He's very healthy with a beautiful coat. My son brought home a rescue dog from Colorado; he is a mix, border collie and pit. He was so bony and his fur was dull. I switched him over to CANIDAE and now he has meat on his bones and his coat is full and very shiny. He is a picky eater and has a sensitive stomach. We don’t feed them people food because he gets diarrhea. I add about a tablespoon of the All Life Stages canned food to the dry formula. They are both very healthy and happy dogs. I think CANIDAE has made a difference in their health and appearance.

They LOVED IT!  12/11/11 - I recently found your food and as a breeder I'm always looking for a way to make my pups and moms healthy. As on previous litters, my mama was looking pretty thin and exhausted. Within 2 weeks of starting CANIDAE she was her old self, milk production was up and I was relieved. I have just given my pups their first puppy "soup" with the CANIDAE All Life Stages, some canned CANIDAE with milk replacer and water. They LOVED IT!! Recently my hours were reduced at work resulting in a 25% pay cut. Consequently this has really impacted the way I shop for myself and my 4 dogs (all rescues). I had to purchase a less expensive Brand X dog food, but not one of them would even touch it! One sniff and it was all over! I ended up donating it to the rescue that I got 2 of the 4 from...then it was back to Pet Club for a bag of CANIDAE. Thanks again for a great product... When Callie was very young we found out that she had allergies to many foods, which caused her hair to fall out. I was told by a friend to try CANIDAE. Of course we did and within 6 weeks you could hardly see where the hair had fallen out. Not only did the food make a huge difference, I have dogs all different ages, and CANIDAE has a food for all stages. It was much cheaper feeding the "girls" all the same food. Wholesome, nutritious, and palatable pet food that our dogs truly enjoy!  11/11/11 - My local feed and seed (Carolina Country Store) carries your CANIDAE products, but until recently, I hadn't really thought about purchasing them before. Then one evening, being very short on time and completely out of dog food at home, I decided to swing through and purchase a few cans to tide my Maltese mix and Border Terrier mix over until I could make it to [a local chain store] the next day. These two are normally VERY picky eaters and it's been difficult finding that "one" brand of food they'll consistently eat. So, suffice it to say I was apprehensive about whether they'd give this new food a chance. To my surprise and delight, they dove hungrily into their bowls and licked the dishes clean in a matter of seconds! (Seriously, these two normally sniff their food, look up at me as if to say "You've got to be kidding" and take reluctant bites, usually leaving half the food untouched.)  Since that time, my husband and I have been purchasing CANIDAE on a routine basis and each time we feed it, our dogs leave their bowls sparkling clean. We like to mix it with brown rice and sweet potato chunks for extra texture, and to make the canned food last longer. They can't get enough of it! Our next step is to transition their dry kibble over to your brand, since the moist food has been such a hit. Dayton, OH I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your All Life Stages dry food  10/17/11 - I have 2 dogs, a Great Pyrenees named Dakota (who is 2 1/2 years old and is a registered therapy dog who visits kids at Children's Hospital Orange County (CHOC) every Saturday) and a Husky/German Shepherd mix named Bimmer (who is 6 months old and will be registered as a therapy dog when he reaches his first birthday). I've been using CANIDAE All Life Stages dry dog food for a short time and have been very happy with the results! I originally switched because I have a puppy and an adult dog and was having a hard time getting them to not eat the other dog's food. I asked our local pet store for a solution and CANIDAE was their recommendation. My dogs are like family to me, and I only feed them quality foods so I was a bit concerned about changing their diet. We were using a good quality food but the dogs did not like the taste of it, and we found ourselves adding chicken broth or cheese to get them to eat it. Shoopie is a rescue dog and she loves to eat. We found she was gaining too much weight due to the "toppings" we were adding. We found your food at a small independent pet shop. She was starved, flea-bitten, sad and (worst of all) had a non-curly tail. I've tried various foods (Whole Dog Journal approved) and CANIDAE PLATINUM® has ended my quest. Ziva is more energetic, smells like a rainbow, hardly scratches at ALL anymore, and even her badly damaged eyes look clearer. You should see her tail now- curled and wagging!! Thanks to a great dog food and lots of love!Carol Murphy, a 108 pound senior boxer, needed to lose almost 35 pounds! 9/21/11 (updated) - In June, my husband and I adopted Murphy, an 8 year old senior boxer who had just been turned in to Boxer Rescue Los Angeles (BRLA) where we volunteer. He was terribly overweight at 108 pounds, could barely walk, slept most of the time, and was continually out of breath. We had fed our previous boxer CANIDAE Platinum dry and canned for the last 5 years of his life and it helped him stay healthy until the age of 13.5 years old. Murphy was a perfect candidate for the same diet being a senior and overweight. We wrote to CANIDAE's customer service team to discuss the amount of CANIDAE Platinum dry and canned to feed him so he could lose weight quickly but safely and verified with our Veterinarian that he would be able to start an exercise program. M  urphy integrated himself into our household of 3 cats and 2 dogs faster than any animal we've ever rescued. He immediately showed respectful and submissive behavior to the cats by turning his back to them and promptly lying down. Within a few hours the cats felt perfectly safe around him and accepted him into the family. He is always tolerant of our 15-month-old female rescue boxer, Penny, who wants to help his training by grabbing his leash in her mouth and galloping full speed down the trail, and he always lets her win tug-of war games. He is sweet with BD and is careful of her small stature (10.5 pound rescue chihuahua) and she rewards him with love and devotion. As to humans, he has won the heart of everyone he meets. He has the most amazing spirit, determination, and zest for life and is one of the most loving and gentle dogs we've ever had.Mornings are Murphy's favorite time of day! Once the sun rises a little, we open the driveway gate, walk across the street and there we are with miles of trails to choose from. During the past 10 weeks of daily walks, he has quickly regained muscle tone and endurance and can hike for over an hour without needing to rest. He is now active, alert, and playful, and enjoys chasing after Penny, BD, lizards and jackrabbits and loves to lead the walk when it is his turn.  Murphy has exceeded everyone's expectations and has lost 18.5 pounds in 10 weeks! This averages to more than 1.5 pounds a week. At his 10 week check, he weighed 89.5 pounds and every week brings him closer to his goal weight of 75 pounds. He has also lost 7" from his waistline and 3" from his neck. Murphy is an inspiration to everyone he meets and living proof that senior dogs can lose weight.Murphy's tips to humans are to measure morning and night meals (no guessing), give affection not treats between meals, weigh and/or measure your dog every 2 weeks or so for encouragement, and take your dog for daily walks steadily increasing the distance as fitness permits. 9/13/2010 UPDATE - Murphy just hit his 12 week mark with us and has lost 22.3 pounds!!!! He only has 10 pounds to go for his goal weight of 75 pounds as he weighed in at 85.5 pounds on Friday, September 10. He has tons of energy and runs around the yard with his girls, chases lizards and jackrabbits and as soon as there is a sign we might be waking up in the morning, starts crying for his walk even when it is "o'dark thirty" as Steve puts it. Such a healthy boxer now, can clean himself (which he does all the time of course), breathes very quietly, regains his breath fast after running around, would rather trot than walk (with his fat tail working like a metronome back and forth with each step) and insists on sleeping in the middle of our bed! As far as inches go, he has lost 2 1/2" from his neck, 7 1/4" from his waist and 5" from his trunk circumference just behind his front legs and 6" from his trunk circumference just in front of his back legs! He continues to be our gentle Murphy but is no longer a giant! So rewarding watching him regain his health and his boxer physique.  10/11/2010 UPDATE - Murphy now weighs only 81.5 pounds, having lost 26.3 pounds total in just 4 months! That calculates out to be a loss of 24.4% of his body weight since switching to natural and holistic CANIDAE PLATINUM. He has lost a total of 3.5 inches from his neck and 9 inches from his waist! Murphy (with a little help from Barbara) writes in, "I'm light on my feet and prefer to trot everywhere. My tail keeps time like a metronome, side to side with each step. I'm getting closer to catching Penny [pictured with Murphy, right] at a full gallop and I can do proper boxer curls, pops, jumps and am pleased to report that I can climb up on the bed whenever I want and no longer have to wait for a boost up. Life is good!1/4/2011 UPDATE - Penny and Murphy have decided that snow is just too cold for their short-haired bodies! Murphy, always the gentleman, lets Penny win after a gentle tussle. Isn't the day after Christmas supposed to be BOXER DAY, not BOXING DAY?  9/21/2011 UPDATE - Murphy is doing very well. He is: slim, fit, likes to jog a little, sometimes plays with Penny our young female boxer, jumps around, wags his tail all the time, and trots or runs with his tail keeping rhythm with his steps like a metronome, slow, medium or fast! We love him to bits! So pleased he is back to being an active boxer, albeit a senior one!Barbara W. Agua Dulce, CA CANIDAE customer service is the greatest!  9/16/2011 - A while ago, Diane in your customer service department spent some time with me on the phone talking about our young Yellow Lab Magic who is in gun dog training. Diane sent me a coupon for a free bag of CANIDAE Single Grain Protein Plus. Magic is now holding her weight well on 3 cups twice a day (was on 4 cups x 2 of ALS). We had thought she might be having an absorption problem since her stools are so large, but extensive lab tests show she is fine. Her high energy level requires a lot of food. Her training is coming along great -- she is a natural retriever and LOVES her daily training. My husband goes out a couple of times a week to train with her. We brought her home over the long weekend to let her catch up on her sleep! I talked to our vet after talking to Diane and the vet believes the weight and stool problems are just a natural thing for a very high strung pup in a kennel situation -- it isn't clinical. I have two narcotic detection trained dogs.After seeing a CANIDAE presentation in Canada at one of our USPCA police K9 events I have decided to switch to CANIDAE for my working dogs. The dogs have enjoyed the change as their coats look nicer and they digest the food without any problems. They also seem to have more energy between feedings. My German Shepherd was having allergies/irritation on the tips of her ears and that has now gone away too. I have a Boxer that I have fed this since 9 weeks old. She is 11 months now and has such a shiny & soft coat, her eyes are bright and she’s super happy all of the time. Great Food!!! Selby B. Within days, the itching stopped  8/9/2011 - My dog was suffering from severe itching. It finally dawned on me that he was allergic to his food, mainly because it contained grains. I switched to CANIDAE because it contains so much meat protein.In the past, I had to add stuff to the dog food to get him to eat it. As soon as I put the CANIDAE down, he began to eat. Within days, the itching stopped. I've tried the bison and the chicken. I think he prefers the one with chicken in it. My husband and I have four babies... actually quite the crowd. We own two Great Danes (Athena and Zeus) who are one year old and eight months old. As you can imagine, they can be quite entertaining. I want to tell you about our struggles with our female Great Dane. Athena can be considered the definition of a “finicky eater.” When she was a puppy, we tried at least 10 different brands of food, and could not find anything she would eat. She was underweight and had dry flaking skin due to poor nutrition. My husband and I found CANIDAE All Life Stages Four Meat dog food at a local pet store, and tried it. We had tried everything else at this point; we were willing to do anything. Surprisingly enough, as soon as we poured the food in her bowl, she started eating and ate her ENTIRE bowl! This was a first for her! Not only do our dogs love this food, it is affordable and has great quality ingredients. You can only expect the best from CANIDAE. Our dogs love the taste of chicken, turkey, lamb, and fish; but they get the benefit of vitamins and minerals for superior health and coats. And better yet... NO FILLERS! It is hard to find an affordable dog food without corn being in the top ingredients!Recently we found out that the pet store we purchase CANIDAE from is going to quit carrying your product because they are switching store names. All of their CANIDAE customers have already informed them they will be losing a lot of business. I know they will be losing my business, because I will do whatever it takes to make sure my babies only get the best! It may mean we will have to drive a little further, but that is okay by me. With two growing Great Danes, we go through 140 pounds of dog food in a month, so it is best we buy in bulk anyway!! Again, thank you for such a great quality dog food! Raven is highly allergic to grains and poultry but does really well on your CANIDAE Grain Free pureSEA. I’m attaching a picture of my two boys to say thank you for caring about the well being of our family members. We do get a lot of compliments on their shiny fur. People always ask me what I use to make their fur so shiny and I don't use anything, just watch what they eat. Raven had a terrible time with his dog food at first until we figured out that chicken and grains triggered his allergies (ear infections, dandruff, itchy skin, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.).I had him on several other holistic and grain free foods, but they also caused problems. Although everyone mistakes them for triplets, they've all been adopted from different local shelters. After 6 months of vet visits, my doctor finally said to take him (Cashie) off of the food I was feeding him, all treats, grains, chicken and lamb kibble. So we started him on CANIDAE Grain Free Salmon [now named CANIDAE Grain Free pureSEA™], then every other month switched him to another flavor of your grain free formulas. After about another 6 months, I noticed his ears were clearing, his coat was shiny and flake free, and he stopped his "scooting."No more monthly visits to the vet. We have had him on your grain free product for over two years now, and he is completely clear of all allergies, ear and anal problems. He is also far more fluent in his running. He was just about immobilized with arthritis in his back knees. He always smells like a fresh clean dog, even between quarterly trips to the groomer. She seemed to get ill frequently on [another brand of] puppy formula her breeder started her on, and now that she is completely transitioned, she couldn't be happier! I was unable to find them for a little while but where I live now, the Ace Hardware store across the street sells your wonderful dog food. My dogs are Nala, a 20 year old Egyptian Pharaoh Hound mix, and Isabelle, a 2 year old Bull Terrier mix. Both were rescued from shelters as puppies. Nala is very picky but she goes crazy for your All Life Stages formula, which I am able to purchase in 35 lb bags thankfully, because Izzi just inhales food! And that meant feeding him the highest quality of food. We did not start him off with CANIDAE, because I didn't know much about this brand. I LOVE CANIDAE food and the Breeder program is wonderful. My dogs are all healthy and their coats look good. I start all my puppies on CANIDAE and send them home with with the CANIDAE puppy packs. Thanks again! Sabrina P Lakeshore Bulldogs My dogs are happy and healthy with this food  12/13/10 - I currently have two dogs, both eating CANIDAE All Life Stages. My older dog began eating the food when I got a new puppy in April. I wanted them on the same diet, which also meant changing her diet from a Grain Free. My female dog was a companion to another dog that we lost earlier this year. My female dog had really bad dandruff, and when I contacted the manufacture, they told me to add a supplement. Since having my dogs, both rescues, both mixed breeds, I have noticed how shiny their coats are. They barely allow me to put the food down for them to eat. I have also begun fostering, and with the experience, I feed CANIDAE to them as well. My dogs are happy and healthy with this food, and I recommend this to everyone. The bigger Lab dog is Chase (Utely-Philadelphia Phillies) and the smaller dog is Simone (Gagne-former Philadelphia Flyer). Both rescues from the group that my husband and I volunteer with.We just got a new foster today, and he has cleaned his bowl twice already. Kate S. My family all now uses CANIDAE  12/10/10 - I have three Labrador Retrievers and back in 2009 our Lab "Bruiser" started having seizures. We investigated every plant, vitamin, and rawhide we had given him. The only thing we could find was the food we were giving our dogs. We were giving them the "Twinkie" of dog foods. I won't mention the brand, but we did our research and decided on CANIDAE.We have three Labs, one a rescue and one from a "puppy mill" and well because our paperwork was wrong had 12 puppies and we kept one. So, three dogs later; our dogs no longer have ear infections, no longer have "hot spots", and our "Bruiser" no longer has seizures. This is one area my husband and I won't compromise on. Thank you so much for creating a healthy dog food. My dogs are so beautiful and healthy.  It is tough to get my dogs sitting for a photo but we did our best. Again, Bruiser, our yellow lab, has not had a seizure since August 2009 and it was about 3 weeks after we switched his food to CANIDAE. Dakota, the larger black lab, really put on the weight after we had her fixed and that is why we changed her to CANIDAE Platinum. She is doing better and again we do not have skin issues which is pretty tough for dogs in Florida. If you look at their coats they are just like silk. My family all now uses CANIDAE and also the dog owners on our street and anyone I have been able to explain the importance of good nutrition too.Christine E. Our two and a half year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Polly Browne, absolutely loves them, and we love that they are so healthy! Baton Rouge, LA Her diet is the best it can be  12/6/10 - My testimonial for CANIDAE's great dog food products began this past June in a quest to find a female Golden Retriever puppy to join our family and in time to train her as a therapy dog to work with hospitalized children. In scavenging breeders' websites via the web and obedience training ideas, CANIDAE's dog food kept popping up in my research. Knowing and trusting that a dog's behavior is very much tied to their nutritional diet, I gleamed CANIDAE's website to ask the customer support representatives a few questions and to also locate a distributor of the dog food (Marshal Grains in Fort Worth, TX). My husband and I also have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab mix we rescued two years ago, but previously we had owned a female Golden Retriever, and I felt this breed's laid back personality and intelligence would be the best match to train as a good therapy dog. Recently my husband retired from 36 years in a medical field and a new ministry of his working with a therapy dog at a local children's hospital would be a wonderful way to spend his retirement years. We have four grown children, who are all married and seven wonderful grandchildren, so this just felt special and right to venture into as our new puppy matures. Brioley joined our home on August 25th at 8 weeks of age and began her diet of CANIDAE All Life Stages. Also Abigale, our Chocolate Lab mix, was switched to CANIDAE Lamb & Rice from a previous high end dog food from a local pet store. Her skin and coat do best when she is on Lamb and Rice blend. They both are pretty amazing dogs and I'm thankful to know that as Brioley entered her second level of obedience training classes at age 5 months recently, that her diet is the best it can be as we move one step closer to her being an incredible therapy dog for children. That she continues to be a very laid back golden retriever I attribute to her breeder and CANIDAE.  I must share that Beth, one of CANIDAE's Support Representatives, has been amazing in answering my many questions, along with being so supportive in raising our new puppy to maturity. Her answers have come back not long after my questions were sent and I treasure this bridge of support with her. Since this time I have cheer-leaded and shared CANIDAE's brands with Brioley's five litter mates, our neighbors, our breeder, our Vet, and a special friend, who has therapy assistance dogs for soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas. Fort Worth, TX My white greyhound isn't shedding anymore  11/19/10 - I have two dogs and two cats. I try and save as much as I can when buying food. I just purchased a Doberman puppy and I was told by the breeder to give him your dry food only. Well, what a stir it caused. My other dogs decided to not eat their food and ate all the CANIDAE instead. I have purchased several bags of your dog and cat foods now. My cats, Maine Coons, eat it like it's ice cream. My dogs also eat the Snap Biscuits. I was told by the breeder to send you some information for coupons to help with my costs. I'd prefer them staying on this diet. My white greyhound isn't shedding anymore with this new diet.Can you please send me coupons or vouchers towards the new diet plan? I would really appreciate any help in saving a few dollars here and there. The reason I ask is because I am 100% D.A.V. U.S. Army Corps. Peabody, MA His skin and coat has improved tremendously  11/10/10 - My Terrier mix, Rusty, started having serious skin problems about 8 years ago when we moved to a different city. The vet and I tried everything to eliminate his skin problems -- from changing his diet to giving him allergy shots, allergy pills, and other prescribed medications -- without much success. I actually considered moving out of the city until the real estate market prevented me from doing so. My vet suggested CANIDAE. I was sure Rusty was allergic to something in the back yard and did not think his dog food was the problem. I was at the pet store, saw CANIDAE Grain Free dog food, and decided to try it.Rusty has been on this diet for about 4 months and his skin and coat has improved tremendously. He is still a little itchy but not as much as he used to be. He has improved markedly. He no longer has open sores and he can finally sleep through the night without being miserable. I have two other dogs and they too are on the CANIDAE Grain Free diet. Thank you, CANIDAE, for putting out such a great product! Iron Mountain, MI Glad to have them back on CANIDAE  11/1/10 - I recently took a trip to Texas with my three Whippets. We ended up staying longer than planned, so I had to purchase food for them while I was there. Unfortunately, I could not find CANIDAE, so I purchased what I thought might be a comparable brand. We were there for a month. By the time we got home their coats were not as soft and shiny as they are when they are eating their CANIDAE PLATINUM®, they didn't seem to be as satisfied (seemed to be hungry all the time) and to put it nicely, they had a considerable increase in elimination.Needless to say, I am glad to be back home in Arroyo Grande and glad to have them back on CANIDAE.
